Janet Reno’s quite hip! Too bad it’s missing this killer track…

Not a single song about the Waco massacre overseen by Reno?

eMusic review of ‘Song of America’ compilation below: Way to go, Danielson!
‘Former U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno seems an unlikely curator for a three-disc set that traces the history of America through 50 songs. Then again, Nashville-based folkie Ed Pettersen sometimes probably can’t believe he’s married to Janet Reno’s niece. Either way, the two teamed up to put together this collection that features notable singers and groups of all stripes taking on American classics and American hardly-knowns. Bettye LaVette’s “Streets of Philadelphia” might be the best thing here, but it’s Danielson’s “Happy Days Are Here Again” that’ll have you dancing on the Fourth of July.’
